In 2019, I created and taught a weekly class at St. John’s Hospital Cancer Center in Oxnard called Essence of Spiritual Counseling, which I ran for two years. I also created and taught a class called Dating After Cancer at the Cancer Support Community in Westlake Village, California. All participants had sexual trauma from cancer treatment effects. I have worked as an intervention coach for Alzheimer’s patients and their caregivers for a study with the University of Washington School of Social Work on the LGBTQ+ community. I’ve worked as a spiritual care provider at hospice for five years. I am also certified in Thai Yoga Therapy, Reiki, and Holoenergetic Healing and worked with these modalities for ten years.

It took time to uncover my vocation! I graduated from UCLA with a B.Sc. degree in Biochemistry, and an M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences from The Weizmann Institute of Science. I realized I needed to work with people. I worked at several jobs mostly teaching math, science, and English as a Second Language, until I had a spiritual insight during meditation at thirty years old. I received an M.A. degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. Certified as a Life Coach by The Coach Training Academy, an ICF-accredited school, I have taken subsequent coach training with Michael Neill, Rohini Ross, Dicken Bettinger, Mavis Karn, Sarah Peyton, and Pransky and Associates. I went to Byron Katie’s 9-Day School for the Work and Eckhart Tolle’s School of Awakening as well as more training with both spiritual teachers. I also studied Nonviolent Communication (NVC). My greatest teachers are the people I interact with daily. I am forever a student.
